The traditional cider is typically made from apples, fermented with an ale or champagne yeast, and bottled once it has reached the perfect amount of dryness.
If I'm being honest, that sounds really good right about now, but what if there was a way cider could be more than that?
As refreshing as a nice, crisp, dry apple cider sounds after a long day of slaying dragons and saving fair maidens, what if we threw in some blueberry? Blackberry? Pineapples and oranges and mangoes (Oh my)?
What if we got really crazy and went with raspberry and rose petals?
Better yet, how about strawberry and habanero?
At Atheneum Cider, we're not afraid to experiment with crazy ingredient combinations or different strains of yeast, including wild ones.
For all of you adventurers out there, welcome to the family!
